SYS-CON Events, Inc. is running Web Services Edge 2001 East: International Web Services Developer Conference & Expo, September 23-26, 2001, at the Hilton New York, New York City. The conference is for Internet, XML, Java, Web Services and ColdFusion technology professionals.

The conference program, produced and presented by SYS-CON Events, will include the ColdFusion Edge 2001 Certification Track http://www.sys-con.com/coldfusionedge.

Macromedia president Kevin Lynch will give one of the keynote speeches at Web Services Edge 2001/East: International Web Services Conference & Expo and Jeremy Allaire, CTO of Macromedia and the creator of ColdFusion will open ColdFusion Edge 2001 with his keynote on Monday, September 24.

“The call for papers opens today, and the conference advisory board of ColdFusion Edge 2001 will select only those submissions most pertinent to this fast-evolving field,” commented Cathy Walters, vice president of SYS-CON Events.
