SCCFUG is happy to present its fourth one-day technical conference. The three previous conferences were smashing successes and we anticipate a great conference this year as well. There will be door prizes for the first 50 people to register. These will include many excellent books from:

We have an excellent line-up of speakers this year, including
Macromedia's Director of Architecture, Sean Corfield and noted CF
authors and gurus, Nate Weiss and Charlie Arehart!

The presentations will be:

* Productivity Tips with Dreamweaver MX 04 (Angela Buraglia)
* Fusebox 4 (Sandy Clark)
* ColdFusion/Java Integration (Nate Weiss)
* Powerful Regular Expressions (Reynerio Muradaz)
* Mach II Development Architecture (Sean Corfield)

The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Costa Mesa on Bristol
right off the 405 and will go all day, from 7:30 to 5:30 PM.

The registration fee includes:

MasterCard or Visa. All registrations must be done in advance.

If you register before January 20, 2004, the charge for the
entire event is only 70.00 dollars. On January 20, the cost goes
up to 85.00 dollars.

(mostly books on CF and related topics); and as always, there
will be some great 'swag' given away at the event, including a

Here's some background information on our speakers:

- Sean Corfield is Macromedia's Director of Architecture. Sean
is a staunch advocate of software standards and best
practices, having written C++ coding guidelines for several
companies during the 90's and more recently maintaining the
Macromedia ColdFusion MX Coding Guidelines.


- Angela Buraglia is one of the contributing authors of the
ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit, is a co-author of
Dreamweaver MX Killer Tips, is the co-author of Dreamweaver
MX 2004 Magic and is the founder of the DreamweaverFAQ.com.


- Sandy Clark is a Senior Software Developer with the Constella
Group in Maryland and a co-author of Discovering Fusebox 4.


- Reynerio Muradaz is a local developer, Fusebox proponent and
has a great deal of hands-on CF coding experience.


- Charlie Arehart - is the CTO of New Atlanta and is a noted
author of many books and articles on ColdFusion.


- Nate Weiss - is a longtime ColdFusion user and enthusiast/
dilettante. He co-authored the last two editions of Ben
Forta's ongoing CFWACK series, and has contributed many chapters
to Ben's other CF books. His latest book is called Flash MX
2004 Pro for Server Geeks.
