Today, Charlie will be speaking on using the interactive debugger built into ColdFusion Studio. He promises that in the next 30 minutes, nearly everyone will learn something new about using the debugger, and if you have tried and failed, he will show you how you CAN indeed setup and use the debugger.

What many people don't know is that Charlie's also a past swing dance champion, has sung professionally with recording artists in Australia, and is currently loving life living on a golf course in suburban Maryland.

Michael runs the Maryland ColdFusion User Group and organized three very successful CF events including CFUN-2k with 700 attendees. Michael volunteers at ByteBack, a non profit organization which provides computer training for unemployed and under-employed inner city residents. He also is a frequent contributor to Fusion Authority, the ColdFusion Developer Journal and the CPCUG monitor.

Steve founded the very first Cold Fusion users group in May 1996, co-authored the book "The Cold Fusion Web Database Construction Kit" 1st & 2nd Edition w/Ben Forta, frequently contributes to the "Cold Fusion Developers Journal Magazine", and is a certified Allaire instructor.

He has more than 3 years of experience in Cold Fusion application development and has worked with the Israeli Ministry of Education and leading Web Technology companies in Israel . Since 1996 he has developed various UI custom tags, published articles in CF_Advisor and given presentations in CGSIG and NYCFUG.

Despite all that Shlomy is a Certified Shiatsu Therapist and Instructor, having worked in research in hospitals and private clinics in Israel.

Developed the initial idea behind the "inFusion" concept which mates ColdFusion to other existing technologies. Personally coded most of the original "CFEngine" and its' current replacement; the "inFusion Engine".

He has co-founded three successful businesses in less than a decade. At Zydacron, Inc., co-developer with AT&T, of the first video conferencing chip set, Bill led product development and strategic partnering efforts with major technology firms.

He is an author of many books and articles. He is also the president of the SCCFUG. He and his company re-wrote the SCCFUG web site using Spectra in late 1999.

EvolutionB is the provider of SynergyNow and the developer of Synergy 2.0, a collaborative work environment for Intranets and Extranets built with ColdFusion. They are now creating "M39" an Internet Customer Relationship Management system based on Allaire Spectra.

Productivity Enhancement, Inc. made a complete switch from LAN-based Client/Server development to ColdFusion back in 1997, and since that time has devoted his business to creating useful tools for ColdFusion developers and better ways to do business on the Internet.

He is actively involved in both the Atlanta and Birmingham ColdFusion Users Groups, and is available to speak at other CFUGs upon request. He also presents the popular "Ecommerce Development with ColdFusion" seminar, which now sports a three-day format. Adam's company is currently working on the next generation of their CommerceBlocks line of modular ColdFusion development tools.

  John Paul Ashenfelter is the President of TransitionPoint, a venture-funded technology consulting and capiltal firm specializing in strategic technology analysis, R&D, technology efficiency, and building startup technology companies. He personally focuses on web database development with ColdFusion and Java, data modeling, emerging technology, and strategic use of technology. He is also a frequent writer and ocassional technology speaker.

John Paul got bitten by the ColdFusion bug while working as a faculty technology advisor at the University of Virginia -- once he saw the power of ColdFusion 2.0, he happily quit working in Perl! Since then, he has worked on dozens of educationally-focused ColdFusion applications at the University of Virginia and elsewhere. During the past two years, he has spent more time developing web applications with ColdFusion in the commercial world. He served as CTO for ExploreMath.com, building their entire web and application infrastructure in ColdFusion. After successfully closing the first round of financing with that company, he went on changed gears by becoming a senior web developer for the online game show giant Boxerjam. Offered the opportunity to create a small venture consulting firm early in 2000, he jumped at the opportunity and founded TransitionPoint, which begins official operations in August of 2000.

In the past several years, John Paul has spent a great deal of time consulting , speaking, and writing for and about the web. Along with writing feature articles for WebReview.com and the OReilly Network, he is the Database Developer columnist for WebReview.com and is now the aboutSQL columnist for the OReilly network. He has also found time to write two books: Choosing a Database for your Web Site (Wiley, 1998) and ColdFusion 4 for Dummies (IDG, 2000). Conference speaking has taken him from Germany to Vancouver with a number of stops in between. He also is editor of www.webdatabase.org, where he is actively looking for contributors and editors.

In a previous life, John Paul earned a BS and MS in chemistry. While working on his PhD, he was lured to switch gears to web development after spending two years working with lasers literally downstairs from the NCSA where Marc Andressen was developing Mosaic. He is currently (still) finishing a PhD in chemical education at the University of Virginia in his spare time. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, with his wife Ann, two cats, and a dog.
