Dave Aden
Dave is Vice President, Technology Services of webworld studios, inc. Dave is co-author of the Forta Spectra book. 
 Charlie Arehart
Charlie Arehart, of SysteManage, is an Allaire certified instructor, who teaches both the Fast Track and Advanced ColdFusion courses. He's also a frequent contributor to the ColdFusion Journal and CF Advisor magazines, as wellas a regular speaker at CF User Groups throughout the country.

What many people don't know is that Charlie's also a past swing dance champion, has sung professionally with recording artists in Australia, and is currently loving life living on a golf course in suburban Maryland.

Leon Chalnick
Leon Chalnick is the president of Adnavta Solutions. He has been using ColdFusion since version 1.0. He developed his first ColdFusion web site for another user group (the now defunct Southern California Paradox Users Group) in 1995 and his company has been focused on developing ColdFusion applications ever since then.

He is an author of many books and articles. He is also the president of the SCCFUG. He and his company re-wrote the SCCFUG web site using Spectra in late 1999.

Cameron Childress
Cameron Childress is the Director of Technology for McRae Communications in Atlanta. McRae is an integrated marketing firm, handling PR and Advertising as well as interactive development.

He has been using CF since version 1.5 and has worked for several various web firms before joining McRae Communications. He started the Atlanta ColdFusion User Group almost two years ago.

Adam Churvis
Adam Phillip Churvis, president of Productivity Enhancement, Inc., is an ecommerce specialist with twenty years of software industry experience.

Productivity Enhancement, Inc. made a complete switch from LAN-based Client/Server development to ColdFusion back in 1997, and since that time has devoted his business to creating useful tools for ColdFusion developers and better ways to do business on the Internet.

He is actively involved in both the Atlanta and Birmingham ColdFusion Users Groups, and is available to speak at other CFUGs upon request. He also presents the popular "Ecommerce Development with ColdFusion" seminar, which now sports a three-day format. Adam's company is currently working on the next generation of their CommerceBlocks line of modular ColdFusion development tools.

Michael Dinowitz

Michael Dinowitz has dedicated the last five years of his life to the ColdFusion community and it doesn't look like he's stopping any time soon. His accomplishments include: Head of RT&T (Research, Training & TroubleShooting) for House of Fusion / CoreActive Hosting the high volume CF-Talk list (as well as others) out of House of Fusion (www.houseoffusion.com) Publishing the Fusion Authority weekly news alert (www.fusionauthority.com/alert) Writing many articles for the above magazine as well as many others Co-Author of the best selling CF web application construction kits Videos, teaching, presentations and more Whether its researching the lowest levels of ColdFusion functionality or presenting to an audience, Michael's passion for the language is clear to see. Outside of Allaire, there are few evangelists as dedicated to the spread of the language and the strengthening of the community.
Benjamin Elmore
Benjamin Elmore is the Director of Technology for RemoteSite Technologies, Inc., and the chief architect of the RemoteSite.com product: Oasis™.

Oasis™ is a Web Syndication, Content and Application Delivery platform. This easy-to-use, web-based interface allows small- to medium-sized businesses to have high functionality sites traditionally available only to large high-profile corporations at a fraction of the price. The core of this product is written entirely in ColdFusion with an extendable API to work with components from a variety of products, including Allaire's JRun 3.0.

A published, international speaker, and advocate of local user groups, Benjamin also sits on the Board of Advisors for the Albany, New York ColdFusion User Group. He will also be speaking at the Allaire Developer Conference 2000.

Benjamin worked closely with Allaire as the lead mentor and consultant for their Partner Enablement Group and assists Allaire's Premier partners and high-profile clients across the globe with their Allaire Spectra implementations.

Hal Helms
Hal Helms
Hal (hal.helms@TeamAllaire.com) is a developer/strategist who writes on development issues within the ColdFusion community. He is a TeamAllaire member and speaks frequently on successful development with Fusebox.

He is a monthly columnist with "ColdFusion Developer's Journal" and is writing a book on ColdFusion for Prentice Hall to be published in February, 2001. He holds training/mentoring classes for companies who want a proven method for developing Web applications.

Steve Nelson is the CTO of Zero-G Commerce, Inc. He has been a member of Team Allaire since '97, and is also the Chairman of the Fusebox Organization which has attempted to create a standard "Open CF application architecture".

Steve has recently created an almost complete testing tool for finding bugs in your ColdFusion applications. Be sure to ask him to buy you a beer and he'll tell you about the tool. Or buy him a beer and he'll answer any CF question you have.

Bill Rogers
BILL ROGERS, FOUNDER & CEO, EKTRON, INC.
William Rogers has founded three successful tech start-ups, and served as chief architect for a wide range of new technologies. He started his most recent endeavor, Ektron, Inc., with the firm belief that dynamic Web authoring and content management should be much less complex and less costly than it is today.

At Ektron, Bill has assembled a stellar technical staff to create first-of-a-kind, award-winning Web content management products being used widely within the ColdFusion community. These include eWebEditPro, the first browser-based Web content editing tool for dynamic Web sites, and eMPower, a low-cost, full-featured content management application designed for small and mid-sized businesses and corporate intranets.

With more than 800 customers in 35 countries worldwide, Ektron is emerging as a leader in Web content management. Bill is a frequent lecturer (including many presentations to CFUGs) and regularly interfaces with key industry players on topics related to Web content management.

Bill's previous start-ups include Global Telemedix, a front-running telemedicine software developer, and Zydacron, Inc., a co-developer of the first video conferencing chip set. Bill has also been at the leading edge of new technology development at companies such as DuPont Corporation and MIT Lincoln Labs.

Robi Sen
Robi Sen
Robi Sen is the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Software Development at Granularity, Inc. Mr. Sen has been working professionally in the software development world for the last 13 years since he was recruited at the age of 16 to develop software systems for Westinghouse Hanford Co and the Defense Department. He worked for Westinghouse and various government programs on and off for 5 years.

Mr. Sen's chief areas of interest are in the creation of a new breed of network-based applicationsand the development of "Intelligent Agents" or software systems which can interact with humans and other machines in a "thoughtful manner" making context appropriate decisions for their user without having to receive instructions from their user. He has spoken widely on these topics and has most recently presented a series of classes to the American Management Association entitled Electronic Commerce. He is also currently working on a book with G. Hussain Chinoy for Morgan Kaufmann Publishers entitled "XML/EDI: The Future of Electronic Commerce" as well as finishing a book on Allaire's ColdFusion called Developing ColdFusion Applications.

Michael Smith

Michael Smith is President of TeraTech, a 11-year old Rockville, Maryland consulting company that specializes in web and database development. TeraTech has developed sophisticated data-driven web sites for a wide range of organizations, from corporations to government agencies. In addition to ColdFusion, the TeraTech staff also have extensive experience in SQL databases, ASP, HTML, Access, Foxpro, Visual Basic and more.Michael has been programming for over 20 years and has been coding in ColdFusion since version 1.5 four years ago. He has an MA and BA from Cambridge University, England and graduated in the top 10 of his year.

Michael runs the Maryland ColdFusion User Group and organized three very successful CF events including CFUN-2k with 700 attendees. Michael volunteers at ByteBack, a non profit organization which provides computer training for unemployed and under-employed inner city residents. He also is a frequent contributor to Fusion Authority, the ColdFusion Developer Journal and the CPCUG monitor.

Nathan Stanford
Nathan Stanford, Creator of CFTIPSPLUS.COM and the weekly cftips e-zine. A ColdFusion Enthusist proclaiming the greatness of ColdFusion. He has created various applications while working at American Airlines, GTE, and several other companies. While at American Airlines he was the key developer of the Zero Day project for January 1, 2000 12:00 am. This was the project that was used at the airports across the globe letting the workers know it was safe to fly.
